Actionable, Accurate Assessment
Standards Based Teaching, Learning, and Grading (along with similar approaches such as “standards-referenced” or “competency-based”) is a philosophy where the teacher begins instruction with a predetermined standard. Students are expected to learn and student progress is then assessed and reported in relation to their progress toward that specific standard.

What People Are Saying
Mr. Clements continues to help me build my confidence as a teacher. His dedication is more than just admirable, it helps restore my faith in education. Also, I’m so proud of Mizzou, my Alma mater, for being a leader in education.
Mark does a great job relating to educators. Instead of being bland in his presentations, he uses humor and relatable stories to make the material more interesting and appealing. Instead of leaving feeling like everything we learned was too overwhelming or unattainable, I am leaving feeling like myself and my group can use what we have learned to be better leaders.
