Teacher Academy
Open to any teacher who has completed at least three years of successful teaching and has a strong desire for professional development, this year-long cohort begins with a statewide event featuring nationally renowned speakers and includes on-demand learning modules, consultant support, networking opportunities and competency-based programing.
Participants will engage in an on-going reflective practice and action research, learn more about facilitating learning experiences, and engaging students in content as well as using data to drive instruction. Ask us how!

This three day event held in July features guest speakers from a variety of RPDC programs and helps teachers just entering the profession learn more about classroom management, lesson design, literacy, special education, and more. Meet Dr. Stacy Quinn
Local Experience, Statewide Expertise
Dr. Stacy Quinn is the Missouri Teacher Development System consultant for the Heart of Missouri.
A former elementary teacher and administrator, Stacy holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a master’s degree in elementary administration from Northwest Missouri State University, and a specialist degree and doctoral degree in educational leadership from William Woods University.
As an MTDS consultant, Stacy facilitates the TeachNow: Alternative Certification Institute, BTAP (Beginning Teacher Assistance Program), Teacher Academy, & a Professional Development Committee.
